We bring the studio to you, on location headshots happen right in your office. While our studio is a great option for many Raleigh – Durham businesses some prefer to to have the studio come to them.
Family Business Institute needed updated photos of their board of directors. While some live in North Carolina others do not, making cohesive branding photos a little more tricky. They meet for a once a year in person, and this year was at the beautiful North Ridge Country Club in Raleigh. The original plan was outdoor photos using the beautiful grounds but an unusually rainy 2018 left us with plan B: a portable studio look.
They opted for a medium / dark gray background which is a great neutral look for corporate headshots. We met before the meetings began and provided light make up retouching and a quick (and painless!) photo session of each person without disrupting the schedule. When a date is already scheduled for meetings and team gatherings, adding on location headshots is an easy way to update your branding and providing each employee with a headshot without any added stress. Having a make up artist on site is highly recommended to make the day run smoothly and have everyone looking photo-ready.
On location headshots can be anything you like; using the surrounding location indoors or outdoors, backdrops ranging from white to black (or a unique pop of color!), or a digital composite background added after the session. We can set up in any available space and work within the confines of just about any schedule. Contact us if you would like to add headshots to your next corporate event!
Grifols is a large global healthcare company working in the area of transfusions and blood banking. While the company is worldwide, a local RTP team needed cohesive group headshots for internal use. Coordinating the schedules of seven coworkers can be a bit of a challenge so this is where the studio option becomes ideal. Over the course of three separate dates (and in this case, over the course of three separate months!) each individual Grifols employee was able to schedule a headshot mini session at the time that worked best for them.
We coordinated outfits in advance and shot each session on a matching backdrop. As new people are hired down the road we will be able to continue to match the photos to the first set, keeping a cohesive look the easiest way possible for this team.
We work with several companies to maintain current photos of new hires and existing staff on a variety of in studio backdrops. The most popular choices are light to medium gray, black, white and blue but we will work to accommodate whatever color color best matches your branding.
Bulk pricing is available for ongoing projects such as these and each client’s photo will receive the same time and retouching. We can set up direct with your employees, or work with a point of contact at your company.

Connie came to the studio this fall as she moved into her first executive roll at Cisco Systems in RTP, NC. She needed a great headshot that reflected her personality for Linkedin, published articles and her corporate directory. She brought several items of clothing in and we selected on the spot – in the end the pop of color was the perfect choice!
Clothing choices for women’s corporate headshots should be simple and professional.
Fit is important around the neckline and dark colors are often best but that doesn’t always mean black is the right choice. Jewel tones and rich colors like deep green, teal, navy, and my all time favorite berry or eggplant can accentuate the skin tone but keep things appropriate for a business setting.
